Wish You Wells

I recently spoke of wish you wells art. I also updated my links with a link to her page of art. I wanted to share what i just recieved. this is her creation wiht my photograph of all three of my monkeys. It is just beautiful. You will soon be able to see it live and in person as I am having it blown up big and put on my wall Framed in a funky wildsorbet frame!

Babies.. I LOVE BABIES and TEXTURE!

Ok so I am partial to these ones specifically but I hope to have some more babies to share with you by the end of september. I have a bunch booked including a squishy newborn!! So.. texture. I will be asking all of my clients doing childrens sessions to bring something wiht texture. You ask.. what do you mean texture..Well a pretty knit hat or a crocheted balnket or a colorful scarf. i have recently stubmled upon this site BlaBla Anything from here is great texture. I hope to get some of these for the studio as well. And for those thinking my kids love being/easy to photographed.. here is evidence to the contrary.. see even the photographers kids have their days!- Not that i even mind the toungue..but it is EVERY ONE!LOL..Little toots! Take some time to enjoy the view

Admist the hustle and bustle of everyday life sometimes I forget to take in whats around me. My husband and I are putting in a playground for the kiddos and have really been working hard. The heat is killer. I don't cope well with 100 plus degree days outside. Last night I was very cranky and tired.. putting togethor the ladder. look up and there it was.. so peacfeful and serene.. soemone telling me to slow down..enjoy this time..this day...right now.

Tools and Talent

There was a man who was an avid photographer. He had just returned from vacation and was visiting friends for dinner. While there, he shared his vacation photos with them. They were awed by the great images he captured. Finally, the woman of the house said to him, "Those are great photos. You must have a really great camera." The man just smiled and nodded. As the man was preparing to leave, he graciously thanked the host. Then he said, "That was a great dinner. You must have really great pots and pans."
